Sustainable Viticulture Seminar May 11th 6:30pm

The Wineries of Santa Clara Valley would like to invite you to join us on Monday evening May
11th 6:30pm @ Jason Stephens Winery. We will be having guest speaker Jill Whitaker, of the
Central Coast Vineyard Team, speaking on Sustainable Vineyard Practices.

 Sustainability rests on the principle that we must meet the needs of the present without
compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Therefore, stewardship
of both natural and human resources is of prime importance. Sustainable farming systems are
biologically-based and designed to be productive in both the short- and long-term.

 This is an excellent opportunity for you hear the latest techniques in Sustainable Viticulture
and to meet other growers and vintners from the Santa Clara Valley.

 You do not need to be a member of the Wineries of Santa Clara Valley Association to attend
this seminar. However, if you would like to be kept informed of other topics related to wine
industry practices, and meetings sponsored by the Wineries of Santa Clara Valley. Please consider
joining us as an assoicate member. The cost is relativly small, but the result will be a stronger
more viable wine industry our area, the Historic Wine Region of Santa Clara Valley.
